The proteins in there will keep you full for hours to avoid morning cravings leading you to run for morning junk at the cafeteria. As mentioned in my article Top 10 Fat Burning Foods, my favorite source of carbs are raspberries so no surprise I used them here! 🙂

  2. Do you add the 2 tbsp. greek yogurt INTO the mix before you cook it or is it just for serving on top after you make the pancakes.

    • Hey Cate. I put it on top on the side like the picture. I wouldn’t recommend cooking greek yogurt 🙂

  3. I thought it was better to save carbs for the evening rather than the morning? I know the idea of eating them in the morning is because you are more sensitive to insulin in the morning, but isnt that sort of a misconception because insulin doesn’t really “use” carbs, it just helps your body store it in different places?

    • If you are going to have carbs such as bread, pasta, rice, etc for it to be eaten before 3pm so your body has a chance to burn it and stabilize your blood sugar before going to bed in the evening. It’s not as significant as eating the right amount of calories, but it can help.

  4. Hi Myriam, are we allowed to eat bananas on keto diet? Thanks! I love your recipes.

    • Hmmm when I do keto, I cheat once a weak to reboost my metabolism. But if you can have bananas it would be a really small piece to stay in keto. I would take high fiber fruits like raspberries instead.
