Ground Beef Keto Frittata Recipe

The Keto frittata is a staple on the Ketogenic Diet. It's fast and easy to make and will give you the perfect amount of fat. You can put as many healthy ingredients as you want in there. I suggest using organic, extra virgin coconut oil for this recipe (I like Nutiva) which is an amazing source of fat that helps your cholesterol levels (read about the health benefits of coconut oil by Dr Oz).

Ingredients for Ground Beef Keto Frittata

(this is for 4 servings)

  • 4 eggs
  • 300g of fatty ground beef (you can also use turkey, pork, chicken or any meat you like and add bacon)
  • 1/2 green pepper (for Vitamin C)
  • 1/2 red pepper (for Vitamin C)
  • 3 leaves of Kale
  • 4 mushrooms
  • 200g of  Goat Cheese (pick a low-carb, low-protein. high fat one)
  • 1tb curry powder
  • 1tbs paprika
  • 1tbs garlic powder

Directions :

1. Cut the kale, mushrooms, green pepper and red pepper into small cubes;

2. Heat the coconut oil in a pan and saute the vegetables until done;

4. Add the ground beef and stir until browned;

5. Beat the eggs with the spices;

6. Make sure the ingredients are spread evenly over the pan and gently pour eggs evenly in the pan;

7. Sprinkle the goat cheese over the top;

8 . To finish just cover the skillet until the eggs are cooked and the cheese is bubbling (3-5 minutes).

  • 490 Calories
  • 40 grams of fat
  • 5 grams of net carbohydrates
  • 1.5 grams of fibers
  • 25 grams of protein

  1. Hiya I made your frittata recipe and it was SO YUMMY! omgosh! I’ll be making it again some time, (I did half and half cream cheese and a hard cheese as i had no feta in the house, and used diced bacon instead) but all the same, a lovely recipe and so happy to be keto!
