Get Ready For The Red Carpet Upper Body Workout!

Who doesn't want to look like a red carpet superstar?!? This workout is meant to give you sexy defined shoulders, a nice looking chest and sexy flat abdominal muscles. Since not all of you have access to the gym, there is some instructions for you to easily adapt this "Sets And Reps" workout for a home workout or as a gym workout. Red Carpet Workout Guidelines

Warm-Up with 10 minutes of cardio (spinning, running, jumping jacks, jump rope...).

Perform each exercise for 3 sets of 10 repetitions for the shoulders and chest part, taking a 60 sec break between each set.

Perform 5 sets of 10 repetitions of the ab exercise on the bosu ball.

Workout Breakdown

Warm Up

10 minutes of any cardio

(I did rowing machine)

Chest And Shoulders

1) Dumbbell Bench Press (10 reps / 3 sets)

(if you don't have a bench you can do this on the floor on a yoga mat)

2) Butterfly (10 reps / 3 sets)

(you can replace this by dumbbell flys)

3) Barbell Bench Press Medium Grip (10 reps / 3 sets)

(you can replace this exercise with push-ups)

4) Barbell Shoulder Press (10 reps / 3 sets)

(you can replace the barbell with dumbbells)

5) Barbell Front Raise Over Head (10 reps / 3 sets)

(you can replace the barbell with dumbbells)

6) Lateral Raises (10 reps each side / 3 sets)

7) Military Press (10 reps / 3 sets)

(you can also do these on a normal chair)

8) Upright Barbell Row (10 reps / 3 sets)

(you can replace the barbell with dumbbells)

 

Abs

1) Bosu Ball Crunches (10 reps / 5 sets)

(you can do normal crunches if you don't have a bosu ball)
